Well, it was a good day here I found a vintage alligator leather purse for $9.99 and guess what it was half off day so the alligator purse cost me $5.00! What a steal considering I will sell this to another vintage collector for way more than $5.00!
My next Place I go to a lot is Goodwill and it is right down the street from Hopes Closet! Here is an awesome staff staff that is always smiling and ready to help you find what you are looking for! I love it here I find may vintage items and I never leave empty handed.

It is not just the staff that brings me back here it is the sales daily that they have. I find all kinds of thing I need
and don't need as well ,but I can't pass up a smoking deal when I see one. Sometimes if you don't buy it when you see it someone else gets it. Today I was smiling because I found some really great items to place on my online store, so here is what i found today at Goodwill!
This is a vintage 1970's dress by Guy D for Leo Narducci dress. Retro, boho, hippie dress gotta love the era. I remember the Hedi dress I bought at a store in my hometown called the Calico Cat and this place was the cool place to go when I was a kid! It is still in Galesburg, Illinois on Seminary Street. Getting back to the vintage, I have a habit of getting off track sometimes but it is for all to benefit! This dress is in perfect condition! I also found in the men's department some alligator shoes that were half off , a vintage fishing lure case and yes I collect lures too! I also found a large Ralph Lauren snakeskin leather makeup bag! My total bill with sale was 32.00! So before one states I would never wear someones else s clothing and shoes, I think about it as it is vintage and it has a history! More vintage pieces are better made than the clothing of today and a lot if it is handmade by the designer's staff, so until you wear a vintage piece..........
I need to mention to that you can find everything you need for your house,college dorm apartments, if you have a cabin or a condo somewhere don't buy new buy used. Not only is it recycling you are saving the planet one way or another. Here are all the other departments I went to just because you never know what you will find!
I just want to say one more thing about Goodwill Industries most all stores have a job center within the store. If you are unemployed Goodwill is worth a try to hunt for jobs as well! Well hope this helps! By the way the parking lot here is always full and there is a lot of good things to find! happy vintage shopping!
